Emma Watson honors Robbie Coltrane: ‘You made it a joy to be Hermione’

The 16-year-old singer told the crowd of fans: “You are all like family to me. This is my first time being here. My family and I, it’s like we’re old friends now.”

Emma added: “It is very special to see you guys here today, because you made it a joy to be Hermione. It’s a very special place to me also.”

Emma went on to say that she is a huge fan of Hermione from the Harry Potter film series, adding: “I love her so much and I love her character here.”

She continued: “We’re all like family. [The whole tour] is like a family and this is my first night here.”

Emma later asked the fans for their photos to appear on the screen behind her, which they did.

The 16-year-old singer went on to talk about filming the Harry Potter film series for the first time, which she watched with her family.

She said: “I watched all the movies for the first time ever and it was so cool that they’re like like little kids and now we’re family and it’s like a journey together.”

Emma said that she is a huge Harry Potter fan and is very excited about Harry’s birthday next month.

She said: “It’s so exciting. He’s such a great little friend already. He’s got his own name, he’s got three books, he’s got a birthday in a month, and I’m so excited.”

Emma added: “He’s always been so cool and he’s always been so funny, and now he’s a little older and he’s a little older and everything is just so cool.”

Emma concluded her talk by singing the Harry Potter theme song: “I’ve got my wand out, and I’ve got my heart on. I will not be swayed…”
